Description:

400 years of relative peace was destroyed by the systematic
opening of black, swirling portals across the land of
Trelan.  Now, the medievally-styled world is overrun by the
highly-advanced daemons from the Netherplanes.  Ruled by a
Lloth-type daemon king known only as the UnderDark, the
daemons menace the world by destroying all life that comes
within their path.  Now, the people only know salvation
through the network of hidden cities that have been
established by the survivors.  Will anyone ever rise in
power, wielding mighty magics and seemingly inhuman skills
and abilities, even assimilating the high-tech power of
their greatest enemy of all, and enter the technological
nightmare known only as the Xentropol to destroy the
UnderDark and save their dying world?

Enter the Portal and become an elven ranger or a gnoll
barbarian.  Take on a profession, trade with your common
folk.  Train each other in the skills of combat and
stealth.  Learn powerful magiks from one another, and even
coax your own new brands of magic from the ether stream.
Overthrow the daemonic overground and gain control of their
tactical stations.  Send these freaks back to the charnel
pit that spawned them, and save your dying world before it
is too far gone.  Do you have what it takes?  Only time
will tell, and even time is not on your side.
