Welcome to the official Betterbox Web Ring! This ring will give you a tour of some of the websites and MUDs we host.
To join the Betterbox ring, you must meet the following conditions:
Your webpages must be hosted on Betterbox.net or the webpage represents an online game (MUD, MUSH, MUX, Talker, etc.) on Betterbox.net. If you have your own domain name that doesn't include Betterbox.net in the URL itself, no problem--just include separately the address of your site as if you didn't have your own domain name (whichever machine you were assigned the account on). So, anyone here who has webpages on MUDs, companies, or organizations can submit a listing to this ring.
Under no circumstances will there be any obscene material on a site that is in the ring. No pornography, profanity or anything unacceptable to the eyes of children, since a good portion of the viewers are under the legal age in most states.
Though it's preferred that the appropriate HTML code be placed on the same page as the URL you submit, we won't require it...but getting to the page with the HTML should be easy to find and a click away.
If you move the site out of Betterbox, we reserve the option to remove the entry, since it would no longer fit the ring's charter.
There is a 3 week grace period upon signing up before a site will be removed if they do not have the proper html code in place to be submitted to the Ring.
Remember to replace ## with your assigned site id number!
